What to know before scheduling your inspection.
What does a home inspection include?
A visual, top-to-bottom look at the home's major systems and components: roof, exterior, structure and foundation, electrical, plumbing, heating and cooling, attic, insulation and interior. We follow the Ohio Standards of Practice, which spell out exactly what is and isn't covered.
How long does an inspection take?
Plan on 45 minutes to several hours, depending on the size and age of the property. Add-on tests like radon or a sewer camera can usually be done during the same visit.
When will I receive my report?
Your report is published the same day as your inspection. It's web-based, so you can open it on any device and share it with your agent.
How much does an inspection cost?
